Conrad Consulting is recruiting for a visionary and experienced Associate Architect to join a thriving, design-led multidisciplinary practice based in Coventry. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a collaborative studio that delivers award-winning residential, regeneration, and masterplanning projects across the UK.

With a strong reputation for blending creativity with commercial insight, the practice is entering an exciting phase of growth and is seeking an accomplished Architect to help shape its future. About the Role

As Associate Architect, you’ll play a key role in steering the architectural output of the practice. You’ll lead project teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategic planning alongside senior leadership. The role spans low-rise housing, high-density apartment schemes, and mixed-use developments, with a strong focus on urban regeneration and masterplanning.

This is a delivery led, and highly technical position. Latter RIBA stage experience is therefore highly essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and technical delivery of residential and mixed-use projects

Oversee masterplanning and regeneration schemes from concept to implementation

Manage multidisciplinary teams across architecture, planning, and urban design

Act as a primary client liaison, presenting proposals and managing expectations

Mentor junior architects and technologists, fostering a culture of growth and excellence

Contribute to business development, fee proposals, and strategic direction

Required Skills & Experience

ARB-registered Architect with 10+ years post-qualification experience

Proven track record in delivering residential architecture projects

Strong portfolio of masterplanning and regeneration work

Experience managing teams and coordinating with external consultants

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Commercial awareness and strategic thinking

Proficiency in design and BIM software – Revit preferred
