About You
A degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Electrical, Audio, Acoustical Engineering or Instrumentation, or relevant technical experience.
Ideally 2+ years' experience in technical support, field service or a similar engineering role.
Experience with scientific, industrial or electronic instrumentation is preferred.
Strong fault-finding skills across hardware and software.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Well organised, proactive and eager to develop your technical expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing first and second-line technical support via phone, email and remote access.
Diagnosing, troubleshooting and commissioning specialist monitoring equipment and software.
Assisting customers with installation, calibration, firmware updates and ongoing technical support.
Preparing equipment for dispatch, servicing, repairs and hire.
Delivering customer training and producing technical documentation.
Supporting demonstrations, site visits and maintaining accurate service records.
Benefits
Salary up to £30,000, depending on experience.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell additional leave.
