We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and expanding automotive service centre in Wednesbury, West Midlands, for the position of Service Technician. Continuous technical training and developmentDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles
Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Complete complex repairs adhering to manufacturer and industry standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop workflow
Perform quality control on completed work
Maintain workshop tools and equipment to safety standards
Assist with repair estimates and communicate technical issues
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Contribute positively to team culture and support colleaguesRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Minimum of three years' experience as a Service Technician within the motor trade
Proven diagnostic skills with previous training
Experience performing complex mechanical repairs
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
Excellent communication skills and proactive customer service approach
