CNC Turner – Programmer, Setter & Operator
Location: Luton
Salary: £46,176.91 Overtime and company benefits
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 0600-14:00/14:00 – 22:00
Reports To: Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a highly skilled manufacturing team producing precision-engineered components for critical industries including Oil & Gas, Power, Defence, and Nuclear. Working within a modern machining facility, you will support low-volume, high-quality production using both CNC and manual machine tools.
The Role
As a CNC Turner you'll be responsible for manufacturing precision parts and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings, ensuring quality, accuracy, and production targets are consistently achieved while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Turner
Set, program and operate CNC turning machines.
Manufacture components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
Produce and modify tooling, jigs, fixtures, and moulds.
Inspect and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
Record work activity using the ERP system.
Support LEAN and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years as a CNC Turner - programming, setting and operating.
Ability to read and work from ISO engineering drawings.
Skilled in using micrometres, Vernier callipers, and precision measuring equipment.
