Year 2 Teacher – Primary School, temp to perm, full-time starting September 2026Here is a well-established primary school in Borehamwood, catering for pupils aged 4–11. Duties as Year 2 Teacher:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive and purposeful learning environment
Managing behaviour effectively and consistently
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staffIdeal Year 2 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Experience managing challenging behaviour
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families
Passion for raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
