Pertemps Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEMH school in Tooting to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school that is committed to helping pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs thrive both academically and personally. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive, structured learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH needs and additional learning barriers.
Build strong, positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence.
Create a safe, nurturing and well-managed classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider school team.
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes.The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching within a primary school setting.
Previous experience working in SEMH, SEND, PRU or alternative provision is desirable, although experienced mainstream teachers with excellent behaviour management are encouraged to apply.
Is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting vulnerable children.
Has excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach.The School Offers
