Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer with a background in commercial, industrial or critical power installations? Do you enjoy working on complex electrical projects? If so, this Electrical Installation Engineer role could be perfect for you!
This Electrical Installation Engineer position is covering Hampshire and the surrounding area. The role is permanent with travel to customer sites. The role is paying a basic salary of up to £52,500, with an OTE of £68,000.
As the Electrical Installation Engineer, you'll be responsible for installing, commissioning and testing generator systems, UPS systems and associated electrical infrastructure at customer sites across a range of critical industries including healthcare, utilities and emergency services. You'll interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams, install containment, cable routing and panel wiring, carry out inspection and testing, diagnose electrical and control system faults, and produce accurate commissioning and compliance documentation. You'll also support customers through operator training, mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across the business. Full product and system training will be provided to help you develop your expertise within the critical power sector.
You will need:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), ideally gained through an apprenticeship
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Inspection & Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) with practical experience
ECS Gold Card, or be actively working towards obtaining one
Previous electrical installation experience within a commercial, industrial, power generation or critical infrastructure environment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
