Job Title: Mechanical Line Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hull area
Pay Range: £39 – 40k plus overtime, OTE £45K+ and a comprehensive package and excellent pension
Contract Type: Permanent
Working 7 12-hour shifts over 14 days, lots of time off! This could help facilitate your relocation to the Hull area and offer opportunities for training, development & overtime.

Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Line Maintenance Engineer - Shifts
Your new challenge will be providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production. You are a reactive, production-focused engineer.
Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of process and packaging equipment.
Planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum
You'll work with conveyor systems, materials handling, automated packaging, and material processing
Leading mechanical repair and working with a CMMS
Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes
Implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated
Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls
Qualifications & Requirements – Mechanical Line Maintenance Engineer - Shifts
Apprentice trained or NVQ level 2 or 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering
Manufacturing Industry experience: heavy, medium or FMCG environments considered.
Routine Preventive Maintenance, to understand a PPM schedule
Finding and fixing faults quickly and effectively
A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
