Role:
Our client is seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join its growing UK sales team. You will be operating in a 50/50 split between new business development and strategic account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across the Global Defence sector, while managing and growing a small portfolio of high-value strategic accounts. The business delivers tailored software solutions that help organisations across the Defence sector. The role will involve managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and engaging senior stakeholders, through to negotiating commercial agreements and closing complex software deals. Alongside new business activity, the successful candidate will work proactively with existing customers to identify opportunities for account growth, strengthen strategic relationships and maximise long-term commercial value. Candidates will be expected to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, achieve revenue targets and develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across the wider defence market. Required:
2-5+ year’s SaaS sales experience into defence sector
