At Okarno, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team, helping us deliver efficient warehouse operations, accurate stock management and excellent service to our customers.
This role will be a key part of our busy warehouse team, supporting the smooth running of daily operations including goods-in, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play an important role in ensuring products are handled safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working as part of a team and taking pride in delivering a quality service.
The role is full-time, working on a rotating shift pattern:
Week 1: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 14:00, Friday 06:00 - 13:00
Week 2: Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 22:00, Friday 13:00 - 20:00
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment is desirable, but we welcome applications from individuals with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
A good understanding of health and safety practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage stock, orders and documentation.
A proactive team player who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to safely handle and move products as part of the role.What you will be doing:
Supporting the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, including receiving goods, stock management, picking, packing and dispatch.
Safely loading and unloading deliveries, checking goods and ensuring stock records remain accurate.
Operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and packing machinery, safely and efficiently.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment while following all health, safety and quality procedures.
