Maintenance Engineer (Double Days) 🔧
📍 Location: Coleshill, West Midlands
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday - Double Days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
💼 Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
The Opportunity
We are currently working in partnership with one of the UK's leading Automotive manufacturers, who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced engineers who are passionate about continuous improvement, mentoring others, and driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform breakdown activities and support diagnostic investigations.
* Help to train team members in planned maintenance tasks.
* Define critical spare parts and budgets.
* Work on improvement projects and implement permanent corrective actions.
* Collaborate with engineering and project teams on new part introductions.
* Promote and challenge safe systems of work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven competence in at least two disciplines (e.g., robotics, mechanical, electrical).
* Strong problem-solving and cost-saving mindset
* Experience with Siemens S7 and Fanuc/ABB systems (desirable)
* Ability to influence and drive improvements across departments.
