Polytec are looking for a motivated and reliable Production Assistant to support our client in South Cambridgeshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. No previous manufacturing experience is required-full training will be provided.
Working closely with the Production Supervisor and wider team, you'll help ensure products are assembled, packed and prepared to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the assembly of precision products
• Packing finished products for dispatch
• Cleaning and maintaining production equipment and work areas
• Providing holiday cover across the production department
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive production team
• Following company policies, procedures and core values at all times
Requirements:
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Good numeracy skills.
• A proactive approach to work and the confidence to escalate issues when appropriate.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Pride in producing high-quality work.
• A commitment to health and safety and following company procedures.
