Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (additional hours may be required to meet business needs

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our growing civil engineering and groundworks team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate setting out, supporting site operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in roads, housing developments and drainage projects who enjoys working across multiple sites and collaborating with construction and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out accurate setting out for roads, plots and associated infrastructure.

Produce topographical, quantity and as-built surveys.

Support the delivery of roads, housing and drainage projects.

Liaise closely with construction and commercial teams to provide accurate engineering information.

Manage data for GNSS-controlled equipment.

Identify and resolve engineering and site-related issues.

Provide day-to-day technical support to the engineering department, including responding to emails and telephone enquiries.

Ensure all engineering works are completed safely, accurately and within project deadlines.

Essential Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' site engineering experience.

CSCS Card.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Right to work in the UK.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.

Experience using Leica Geosystems equipment.

Experience with AutoCAD and LSS software.

Experience working on residential infrastructure, roads and drainage projects.
