Injection Moulding Technician
Rotating Shifts (6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm with cover on nights if required)
💷 £16.50 per hour + Shift Allowance of £3 p/h for any Night shift worked
Are you an experienced Injection Moulding Technician who enjoys working autonomously?
Our client, based in the Birmingham area, is seeking a skilled technician, ensuring high-quality, right-first-time manufacture and smooth running of injection moulding operations.
What you’ll be doing:
* Setting and conditioning injection mould tools
* Troubleshooting faults and responding to machine alarms
* Maintaining quality standards and processing parameters
* Routine maintenance and fault finding with basic electrical knowledge
* Preparing auxiliary and assembly equipment
* Recording production data and ensuring full traceability
* Supporting continuous improvement and best practice
What They’re looking for:
* At least 3 years’ experience in injection moulding
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability together with an innovative outlook
* IMT Level 2 (or working towards) would be benefical however is not essential
* A proactive, quality-driven mindset
* Comfortable working rotating shifts and taking responsibility on shift in the absence of the Supervisor
