We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled HGV Technician to join their modern commercial vehicle workshop located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician seeking to develop their career within a reputable and expanding organisation.

Perform inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and commercial vehicles
Diagnose faults efficiently, adhering to DVSA standards
Complete repairs accurately and within specified timeframes
Conduct preventative maintenance and general workshop duties
Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs when required
Complete all relevant documentation, service records, and warranty paperwork
Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and stock control
Work both independently and as part of a supportive teamRequirements of a HGV Technician:

Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) in HGV Maintenance & Repair
Full UK driving licence (Class 1 advantageous but not essential)
Proficient diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to identify worn or faulty components in line with DVSA standards
