Job Description:
Packaging Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Packaging Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the day-to-day packing operation to ensure production targets are met.
* Lead, support and motivate the packing team.
* Ensure products are packed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
* Make sure packing areas are fully stocked and ready to support production.
* Monitor productivity and identify ways to improve performance and efficiency.
* Complete daily reports and provide updates to management.
* Manage staffing levels to meet production plans.
* Train new and existing team members and ensure SOPs are followed.
* Maintain accurate stock control and production records.
* Approve holidays and support absence management to ensure adequate cover.
* Carry out return-to-work meetings and annual performance reviews.
* Promote excellent housekeeping and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
* Attend weekly operations meetings and support continuous improvement projects.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or production.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work to deadlines and production targets.
* Confident using production data and reports.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
* Health & Safety awareness within a manufacturing environment.

* £15.00 per hour.
* Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends.
