A leading UK organisation is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Programme Communications Lead to support a major business transformation programme.

The programme is entering a critical phase of its SAP S/4HANA rollout and requires a high-energy, credible communications professional who can deliver clear, engaging and consistent programme messaging across the business.

Working closely with Programme Leadership, the Change Lead, PMO and the wider transformation team, the successful candidate will help maintain engagement, build confidence and ensure that key messages are effectively communicated across programme teams, senior leadership and operational stakeholders.

This is not a traditional internal communications role. It requires someone who can quickly understand a complex SAP programme, engage confidently with senior stakeholders and create communications that generate momentum and support successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver the programme communications strategy for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation.
  • Develop and execute engaging communications aligned with programme milestones, deployment activity and go-live phases.
  • Work closely with Programme Leadership, the Change Lead, PMO and functional workstreams to ensure messaging is clear, accurate and consistent.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, operational stakeholders and programme teams.
  • Translate complex programme information into clear, accessible and engaging communications.

Create high-impact communications, including:

  • Programme updates and newsletters
  • Leadership communications and briefing materials
  • Town hall and stakeholder presentation content
  • Go-live and deployment communications
  • Programme announcements and key messages
  • FAQs, Intranet content and engagement materials
  • Support communications around programme readiness, business change, deployment activity and key decisions.
  • Identify communication risks, gaps and stakeholder concerns, and develop appropriate messaging to address them.
  • Ensure communications remain positive, credible and aligned with the overall transformation narrative.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and adapt the approach where required.
