Caremark North Norfolk & Great Yarmouth is recruiting part-time Care Assistants across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding villages.
Full-time hours are also available for applicants willing to cover a wider territory across Great Yarmouth and North Norfolk.
No previous care experience is required. We provide fully paid induction, shadowing and ongoing support before you begin visiting clients independently.
What you will receive
• £14.00 per hour, equivalent to £15.69 per hour including holiday pay
• Paid travel time between clients and 35p per mile mileage allowance
• £21.00 per hour on bank holidays
• Guaranteed-hours contracts and flexible working available
• Free Flex27 gym membership and Blue Light Card access
• £350 holiday voucher incentive every six months
• Annual MOT paid for and support with vehicle damage caused while working
• Free DBS check, paid induction and paid shadowing
• Performance and staff referral bonuses

You will complete your Care Certificate within your first 12 weeks and have access to funded Level 2 to Level 7 Health and Social Care qualifications.

What you will be doing
You will support people to remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.
The role involves helping clients get ready in the morning or settle for the evening, supporting with washing, dressing and personal care, and assisting with mobility and continence needs.
You may also prepare meals, encourage good food and fluid intake, provide companionship and emotional support, support outings and hobbies, complete light household duties, record accurate care notes and report changes in a client’s health or wellbeing.
What we are looking for
Previous care experience is not required. We are looking for people who are kind, dependable, comfortable working independently and genuinely passionate about helping others.
You should be able to communicate clearly, follow individual care plans and use a mobile phone and basic care-recording software.
You must have:
• A full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• Good spoken and written English
