Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit an Administrator Fire Safety on a temporary ongoing basis.
📍 Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid working)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
💷 Pay Rate: £16.07 per hour
📅 Duration: Temporary for 3 months with potential permanent opportunity
🔑 Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
As part of the Fire Safety Team, you’ll provide key administrative and coordination support, working with internal teams, contractors, and building contacts to ensure Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) are scheduled, completed, and accurately recorded.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating Fire Risk Assessments by arranging access with building managers and site contacts
Tracking assessment progress, checking reports, and coordinating follow-up actions
Maintaining accurate compliance records, databases, and electronic filing systems
Updating Excel trackers, producing reports, and supporting performance monitoring
Providing management information on outstanding actions, completion rates, and compliance activity
Supporting document management through systems such as SharePoint or similar platforms
Assisting with meeting coordination, minute taking, and general team administration
Building strong working relationships with contacts across the cityYou’ll thrive in this role if you’re:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Comfortable analysing data and producing accurate reports
A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
