The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach to join Angel Oak Academy on a full-time basis for the academic year, starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. The successful candidate will deliver engaging sports sessions, support PE lessons, and encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong enjoyment of sport.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging PE lessons, sports coaching sessions, and extracurricular activities.
Support pupils' physical, social, and emotional development while promoting positive behaviour and inclusion.
Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to provide a safe, enjoyable, and inspiring sporting environment.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Sports Coach, PE Coach, or in a similar role working with primary-aged children.
A recognised sports coaching or physical education qualification is desirable.
Strong communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills.
A positive, energetic, and flexible approach with a passion for inspiring young people through sport.
