This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified, nearly qualified or recently qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a modern and supportive practice. The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality audit and accounts services to a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a broad portfolio of clients
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
Supervising and reviewing the work of trainees and junior team members
Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout assignments
Identifying audit risks and ensuring compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards
Preparing management letters and communicating findings to clients
Supporting Managers with the planning and delivery of client engagements
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication
Assisting with ad hoc advisory projects as required
RequirementsThe Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will likely have:
ACA or ACCA part-qualified, nearly qualified or recently qualified
Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
Strong audit and statutory accounts preparation experience
Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and client relationship skills
A proactive attitude and ambition to progress within the firm
