Our prestigious client is currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join their team. The main purpose of this position is to deliver excellent service to both our existing and potential customers, making sure every enquiry, issue, or request is handled quickly, efficiently, and professionally from start to finish.
Job Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
Location: Reading, office based
Salary - £25,000 As the Office Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Acting as the first point of contact for customers, logging and tracking faults on Salesforce through to resolution.
Scheduling and coordinating engineer diaries to make the best use of time and resources.
Communicating with customers to arrange engineer visits, breakdowns, maintenance, installations, and collections.
Processing customer orders for supplies, parts, and consumables, including sales orders and delivery notes.
Creating quotes and correspondence for supplies and maintenance contracts for both existing and prospective customers.
Keeping Salesforce up to date to support customers and engineers effectively.
Managing customer queries and resolving issues in a calm, helpful, and efficient manner.
Arranging the shipping of parts and supplies to customers and engineers.
Helping in the warehouse with shipping machines and completing admin tasks.
Carrying out general Salesforce admin, including updating customer contact and address details.
Ordering and maintaining stock levels for engineer parts.
Logging and distributing incoming sales enquiries and leads.
Assisting with processing sales orders when required The successful Office Administrator will have the following related skills and experience:
Effective communication both oral and written
Professional, hardworking, and reliable
Excellent attention to detail and understanding of sales processes
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Good problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
Methodical, thorough and positive approach to work
Good at multitasking and prioritising where required
Full PC literacy on Microsoft software packages
A full UK driving licence is helpful, but not essential
