Company Overview:

A leading UK manufacturer of dry mortar products, operating a network of nine EuroMix manufacturing plants nationwide. Its range of dry mortars, renders, plasters and concretes is used on housing, industrial, educational and infrastructure projects across the UK. The business also operates a modern bagging facility, supplying merchants and contractors with ready-to-use concrete, mortar and fence post mixes.

Job Description

A key position within the factory responsible for raw material planning, manufacturing operations and distribution of finished products. As well as operating a state-of-the-art dry mortar factory, you will be responsible for the daily planning of all raw material deliveries and the daily scheduling of the delivery fleet.

With daily direct contact with customers, you will deliver a market-leading service for both product delivery and equipment servicing.

Key Responsibilities

You will be trained to operate both a state-of-the-art sand drying system and a state-of-the-art mortar mixing plant, developing into a skilled Plant Operator and Team Leader.

Responsibilities include:

Production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand.
Ordering and managing raw materials.
Producing finished product to meet a demanding and busy order book.
Operating and monitoring plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Leading and supporting the production team.
Supervising delivery and service teams.
Coordinating daily fleet and transport schedules.
Maintaining high standards of customer service.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

Essential Requirements

Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous (full training will be provided).
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Good general computer literacy.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Team leadership or supervisory experience would be beneficial.
