About the Role
Destination Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils build on their knowledge and confidence throughout Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum, creating an inclusive classroom environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders to ensure every child receives the support and challenge they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback and next steps.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to parents' evenings and school events.
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or equivalent.
Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting, ideally in KS2.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Has excellent curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
Is committed to high expectations and achieving positive outcomes for pupils.
Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.What Destination Education Offers
