ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support for Primary-aged pupils across Bromley. This role involves delivering tailored sessions in English, Maths, and general SEN support to help pupils develop confidence, engagement, and academic progress.
As an SEN Tutor, you will support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties. You will plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet each pupil's individual learning needs while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a teacher or tutor looking to provide meaningful, one-to-one support outside of a traditional classroom setting.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS qualification, or equivalent
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
Experience teaching or tutoring Primary-aged pupils
Good knowledge of the Primary curriculum, particularly English and Maths
Minimum 6 months' experience working within a UK educational setting
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (desirable but not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
