Quality Control Technician
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Salary: £28,608 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 08:45 – 16:45
Friday: 08:45 – 16:00 (includes a paid 45-minute lunch break and an early finish)
The Role
We are recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business. Working within the Compliance Technical Team, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality and food safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous quality control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out quality control testing on finished products and raw materials.
* Upload quality data onto SAP and release approved products.
* Set up and coordinate taste panels.
* Prepare and dispatch samples for chemical, microbiological and allergen testing.
* Complete scheduled microbiological swabbing and water sampling.
* Support production by responding to technical queries and completing associated documentation.
* Assist with technical projects and provide wider support to the Technical Team.
About You
* Previous experience within a Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment.
* Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible approach with a positive attitude.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK.
