Jelly Technical are seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Technician to join a forward-thinking manufacturing site in Leek. You will act as a key technical champion and ensures that every product leaving the facility meets the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.

You will collaborate closely with shop floor teams to ensure technical excellence in product quality, food safety and regulatory compliance. You will support internal audits and environmental monitoring programmes, reporting anomalies when they arise.

Role and responsibilities of this Quality Assurance Technician:

Conduct essential site audits including GMP, glass, hard plastic, and critical control points.
Execute environmental testing schedules such as line swabs, water sampling and allergen validation.
Conduct weekly chemical dosing checks, titrations and routine instrument calibrations.
Support any internal investigations on any non-conformances.
Assist in collecting and reporting crucial data.

Experience and qualifications needed for this Quality Assurance Technician:

Level 3 qualification in Food Safety & Hygiene.
Level 2 HACCP certification.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing role.
Knowledge of GMP, BRCGS standard, and factory compliance requirements.
An understanding of allergen management and environmental swabbing protocols.
Exposure to audit processes.
Strong numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to style to collaborate effectively across all shift levels
