Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 per year + Mileage + Benefits

We have an amazing opportunity for person who is passionate about helping people into work and building strong employer relationships? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Employability Officer to connect participants with sustainable employment and work placement opportunities across South East Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers.
* Source sustainable job opportunities and quality work placements.
* Match participants with suitable roles based on their skills and aspirations.
* Conduct workplace health & safety checks and risk assessments.
* Provide in-work support to help participants sustain employment.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
* Keep up to date with local labour market trends and employer needs.
About You:
* Experience supporting unemployed adults or young people into work.
* Proven ability to build employer relationships and secure job opportunities.
* Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
* Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
* Self-motivated, flexible and able to manage a varied workload.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the local labour market.
* Understanding of safeguarding and Prevent.
* Welsh language skills.
