Location: Magna Park, Milton Keynes MK17
Pay: £15.29 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts and Hours: Saturday & Sunday | 6:00am - 4:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Are you a passionate and reliable Chef looking for a rewarding weekend role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position? We are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy and friendly catering team at Magna Park, Milton Keynes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service while working within a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As Weekend Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and served to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the kitchen team and service staff during busy periods
Preparing and serving evening meals for up to 70-80 people
Carrying out food preparation for upcoming shifts
Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen hygiene
Setting up and serving food from the counter
Stocking fridges, storage areas, and service counters
Assisting with pot wash and dishwasher duties when required
Storing food correctly and safely
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Ensuring the kitchen remains organised, clean, and fully operationalWhat We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
✅ Previous experience working as a Chef or Sous Chef
✅ A genuine passion for food and customer service
✅ Strong organisational and time-management skills
✅ A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable approach to work
✅ Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
✅ The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
✅ A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
