NXTGEN are working with a growing Accountancy Practice to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their expanding team. What you'll be doing:

* Preparing year end accounts for a varied client portfolio

* Preparing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping

* Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computations

* Building strong client relationships and responding to day to day queries

* Working alongside senior team members on a range of accounts and advisory work

What we're looking for:

* Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice

* AAT qualified, studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA, or qualified by experience

* Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero

* A positive attitude and genuine ambition to continue developing your career
