Full-Time
You start your shift by setting the machines and running your checks. You are the person on the floor making the calls, adjusting line speeds, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and directing your team to hit the daily plan. If the line stops, you're the one who gets it moving again.
The Work
Technical Setup: You calibrate the packing machinery, handle film changes, and troubleshoot equipment stalls to keep downtime to a minimum.
Production Flow: You monitor KPIs and adjust the pace to ensure the daily plan is met and customer orders are fulfilled.
Quality & Compliance: You own the paperwork. You perform bag and seal checks, print accurate pallet labels, and maintain the daily production logs.
Leadership: You train your operatives on the line, coordinate with forklift drivers for materials, and maintain "right-first-time" standards.Requirements
Background: Proven experience in food production or high-speed manufacturing.
Skills: Technical ability to set up machinery and basic IT competence (Excel/Outlook).
Delivery: A tenacious approach to problem-solving and the ability to lead under pressure.The Package
Pay: £14.32 per hour + overtime paid at £17.90 per hour.
Shift: 4 on, 4 off (10-hour days).
Status: Permanent, full-time
