We're partnering with an innovative and forward-thinking fresh produce business looking for a Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing Technologist to support the delivery of responsible sourcing, sustainability, and human rights programmes across an international supply chain. Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing Technologist

£35,000 - £40,000

What You'll Be Doing:

Support supplier due diligence, ethical compliance, and responsible sourcing programmes, ensuring supplier approvals, documentation, and compliance records remain accurate and up to date
Assist with supplier audits, Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), risk assessments, and corrective action plans, helping to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain
Collect, validate, and analyse sustainability data, supporting reporting on carbon emissions, food waste, environmental performance, and key ESG metrics
Help maintain compliance with SEDEX, SMETA, BRCGS, retailer standards, and internal governance requirements, ensuring the business remains audit-ready
Produce reports, dashboards, and management information to support sustainability initiatives, customer reporting, and strategic decision-making
Build positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams, supporting sustainability projects and responsible sourcing objectives across the business
Monitor emerging legislation, retailer expectations, and industry developments, helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Provide day-to-day technical support across sustainability, ethical trade, and environmental programmes, contributing to the wider ESG strategyWhat We're Looking For:

Experience or knowledge of sustainability, responsible sourcing, ethical trade, supplier assurance, or environmental compliance within FMCG, fresh produce, agriculture, or food manufacturing
Understanding of industry standards such as SEDEX, SMETA, BRCGS, Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), or retailer compliance requirements
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, produce reports, and manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams
