Based in Erdington
Duties of a Health and Safety Manager
Following processes and procedures for all staff
Actively going on the shop floor
Implementing systems
Make sure that all the staff are following protocol, training and running tool box talks
Reviewing the safety of the site and ensuring any issues are actioned and resolved
Maintaining a safe work place
Ensure that the site meets all legal expectations.
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
Investigate accidents / recommend solutions to the issues Experience required for a Health and Safety Manager
Hands on approach / Proven Experience of a Health and Safety Managers role
Nebosh Qualified
Make regular inspections onto the shop floor
A background in quality and environmental experience would be an advantage
An involvement in audits
Staff training and development
A can do approach to work - look for a solution to the problem and see it through
Good interpersonal skills / communication skills at all levels
Dealing with the facilities on site - to ensure they are serviced and scheduled
Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies Details of a Health and Safety Manager
Days Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Based in the Erdington area
£40k per annum
