Salary: £18-£20 per hour + Overtime Available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer (Production) to join a growing engineering business specialising in innovative pumping and wastewater treatment solutions. Working within the production team, you'll be responsible for building, assembling and testing equipment before it is delivered to customer sites.
Reporting to a Project Engineer, you'll receive day-to-day support while working alongside experienced mechanical and electrical engineers in a busy workshop environment. The Role
As part of the production team, you will:
·Assemble and build mechanical equipment including pumps, pipework, valves, frames and skid-mounted systems.
·Support the production of hire fleet equipment and bespoke build-to-order products.

You'll ideally have:
·Mechanical fitting or engineering experience.
·Experience using hand and power tools.
·The ability to read engineering drawings (advantageous).
·A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
·A willingness to carry out both mechanical and basic electrical assembly work.

Candidates with a stronger electrical background will also be considered, provided they are happy working in a hybrid mechanical/electrical production role. At least one of the new hires will be electrically biased.
What's on Offer
·Regular overtime available.
·Monday to Friday working pattern.
·22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
·Private healthcare.
·Income protection.
·Company pension.
·On-site parking.
·On-site gym.
