Personal Assistant to the Managing Director | Construction Consultancy | Essex | Permanent
I'm working with a growing construction consultancy looking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to become the MD's right hand in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business.
They're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, personable and enjoys being involved in the wider business—not just managing a diary.
The Role
Managing the MD's diary, meetings and day-to-day priorities
Coordinating travel, logistics and meeting schedules
Preparing presentations, pitch documents and meeting packs
Attending meetings, taking minutes and following up actions
Organising quarterly company events and internal initiatives
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers and stakeholders
Anticipating priorities, solving problems and helping keep the business running smoothly
What they're looking for
Previous PA, Executive Assistant or Office Manager experience,
Or someone from a fast-paced customer-facing background such as estate agency, recruitment, sales or hospitality
Highly organised with excellent communication skills
Confident, personable and able to build relationships quickly
IT savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly
Proactive, resilient and willing to take ownership
Someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative and sociable team
The Business
Growing construction consultancy
Entrepreneurial, collaborative and non-corporate culture
Direct exposure to the Managing Director and senior leadership
Opportunity to become a trusted part of the business rather than simply providing administrative support
Regular team socials and company events
