About the Opportunity
Paradigm Employment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business for an R&D Technician to join their growing technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical electronics background who enjoys fault finding, testing and supporting the development of innovative electronic products within a modern manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the R&D team with new product development
* Test and validate new electronic products and functions
* Repair and diagnose electronic products and assemblies
* Support product qualification and verification activities
* Record test results and technical findings
* Work closely with engineering and technical teams on product improvements
About You
You'll ideally have:
* HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics (or similar)
* 2+ years' experience within electronics, R&D or test engineering
* Good understanding of electronic circuits and electrical principles
* Experience testing, fault finding or repairing electronic products
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office/Outlook)
* A proactive, organised and methodical approach
