An established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, delivering a mix of professional and project-led surveying services for clients across the public and private sectors.

The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking business with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality technical advice and innovative solutions. The Role

As a Building Surveyor, you will be involved in delivering a broad range of surveying services, including:

Contract administration and project management.

Dilapidations (acting for both landlords and tenants).

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.

Technical due diligence and acquisition surveys.

Building pathology investigations.

Defect diagnosis and reporting.

Condition surveys and asset management advice.

Refurbishment and alteration projects.

Party Wall matters (desirable but not essential).

Supporting clients with statutory compliance and building safety requirements.

Projects span a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial and public sector estates.

Candidate Requirements

Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.

Working towards or already holding MRICS status (preferred but not essential).

Previous consultancy experience delivering both professional and project work.

Good knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and construction methods.

Strong report writing and communication skills.

Excellent client-facing abilities with a proactive approach to service delivery.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Full UK driving licence is advantageous.
