Smart Teachers are recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in East London seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Product Design / Resistant Materials Teacher to join their successful Design & Technology department from September 2026.
The Role
The successful candidate will teach Product Design and Resistant Materials across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that inspire students to develop their creativity, technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. You will join a collaborative department that values innovation, high-quality teaching and excellent outcomes for all learners.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Product Design / Resistant Materials Teacher, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Product Design and/or Resistant Materials at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge.
Be committed to raising attainment and supporting students of all abilities.
Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
