Murray McIntosh is delighted to be supporting Scottish Renewables in the recruitment of a Sponsorship Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing commercial team at the heart of Scotland's renewable energy sector. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorship, you'll play a key role in supporting sponsorship partnerships, maintaining sponsor relationships and helping to generate commercial income that supports the organisation's wider objectives.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to some of the most influential organisations, events and stakeholders shaping Scotland's renewable energy industry.

The Role

Working closely with sponsors, commercial partners and internal teams, you'll support the delivery and growth of Scottish Renewables' sponsorship programme. Responsibilities will include managing sponsorship administration, maintaining CRM records, coordinating sponsor benefits, supporting sponsorship sales activity and helping to identify new commercial opportunities.

You'll act as a key point of contact for sponsors, ensuring they receive excellent service and value from their partnership. The role also involves preparing proposals and reports, supporting sponsor renewals and working closely with the Events Team to integrate sponsorship activity across conferences, exhibitions, networking events and awards programmes.

This is a varied, relationship-focused role that would suit an ambitious and personable individual who enjoys building connections, engaging with stakeholders and developing long-term relationships. You'll work closely with some of the sector's most influential organisations, contributing to commercial growth while building a rewarding career in sponsorship, partnerships and business development within a respected and influential organisation.

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

Experience in sales support, partnerships, sponsorship, account coordination or another customer-facing role.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience maintaining databases, records or CRM systems.
Commercial awareness and an interest in revenue generation.
The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and build long-term relationships.
A proactive approach and the ability to spot opportunities for growth.Experience in sponsorship, partnerships, events, membership organisations, business development, hospitality or customer-facing environments would be advantageous. An interest in renewable energy and sustainability would also be beneficial.
