Production Supervisor – Mixing & Process Area, Monk Bretton Barnsley
Salary: £34,500 per annum
Shifts: Rotating Weekly Shifts | 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of our mixing and production processes on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for leading a team of operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support production operatives within the mixing area.
* Manage weighing and mixing processes in line with production requirements.
* Ensure accurate stock control and material usage.
* Complete and maintain all production paperwork and records.
* Monitor process controls and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
* Drive productivity, efficiency and quality standards across the department.
* Identify and resolve production issues and escalate where necessary.
* Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Experience managing teams and achieving production targets.
* Strong understanding of process control and production documentation.
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Experience within food, chemical, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments would be advantageous
