We are seeking a Buyer to join a well established Manufacturing business. The role is based in Greater Manchester and focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure optimal value and efficiency.

Description

Manage the procurement of raw materials to meet operational requirements.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain strong relationships.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for sourcing improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
Prepare and present procurement reports to stakeholders.
Support the implementation of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

Proven experience in Purchasing
