Order Administrator

Location: Peterborough (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week, including one team day)

Job Type: 6-Month Contract

Salary: £13.49 per hour

Our client is seeking a Customer Order Management Administrator to support its Customer Order Management team. This role focuses on non-customer-facing administrative activities, ensuring customer orders and related documentation are processed accurately and efficiently throughout the order lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Process customer orders accurately within required deadlines

* Manually allocate parts to customer orders

* Compile and distribute export and shipping documentation

* Support customer account setup activities

* Assist with credit and debit administration tasks

* Prepare and distribute internal reports

* Maintain and cleanse system data to ensure accuracy

* Update customer details, pricing information and order records

* Monitor ageing orders and order holds

* Escalate issues promptly when identified

* Support continuous improvement initiatives

* Attend workshops, audits and meetings as required

Candidate Requirements

* Previous order management experience desirable, or transferable administrative skills

* Strong data entry and administration capabilities

* Good Microsoft Office skills

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Comfortable performing repetitive tasks

* Organised and able to meet deadlines

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
