We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to work within our Procurement Team. We are a forward thinking, values driven housing association, and this role is based in our Rockingham St, Sheffield offices.
As we are currently undergoing a merger, this would an opportunity to develop your skills in a changing environment.
For our perfect candidate we are offering a flexible role, working in a caring and friendly team, with a great package of benefits.

More about the role:
* You would be joining a small team and report directly into the Procurement Manager
* The main purpose of the role is to support the Procurement Manager to deliver the Associations work on Procurement in the lead up to the merger with Places for People
* This role requires an individual with attention to detail who can work with minimum supervision as well as being a team player
Who you are:
* We are looking for someone who is experienced in Public Sector procurement, who has CIPS level 5 (or equivalent) as a minimum
* Have a thorough knowledge of the legal requirements of both PCR15 and PA23 regulations.
* Is an effective communicator and have strong stakeholder management skills at all levels both verbally and written
* Good problem solver with an attention to detail and demonstrate a strong commitment to service quality
* Great organisational and observational skills
* Have a variety of digital skills such as Microsoft Excel and are able to transact online
