About the Role
Our client, an innovative industrial automation company, is looking for a Software Engineer with a strong focus on C++, Qt, and Linux to join their software development team. In this role, you will develop operating system components and service tools for Linux-based industrial systems, implement applications in C++ with Qt, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline while applying agile methodologies.
What You'll Be Doing
Developing, maintaining, and optimising operating system components, drivers, and service tools for industrial systems on Linux (x86/ARM)
Implementing and extending applications using C++ with Qt
Supporting and improving the build and CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins or Azure DevOps)
Managing regular security and feature updates
Contributing to virtualisation and containerisation initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborating with interdisciplinary, international teams
Participating in agile ways of working (Scrum or SAFe), including documentation and code reviewsWhat We're Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment
Familiarity with embedded or system-level development (x86/ARM)
Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and containerisation concepts
Comfortable working in agile teams (Scrum/SAFe) within an international, cross-functional setting
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
