Location: Hybrid Working (On-site as required)
Rate: £750–£850 per day (Inside IR35)

The Opportunity
A large public sector organisation is seeking an experienced ERP Payroll Design & Implementation Lead to play a pivotal role in a major Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Payroll workstream on a high-profile digital transformation, ensuring the Oracle Fusion Payroll solution is configured to meet organisational, legislative and statutory requirements while supporting wider business transformation objectives.
Working alongside senior programme leaders, Payroll, HR and implementation partners, you will act as the functional expert, translating business requirements into effective Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions whilst driving successful adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Payroll workstream throughout the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation.
* Act as the functional expert for Oracle Fusion Payroll, ensuring the solution meets business and statutory requirements.
* Work closely with Payroll, HR, Programme Management and Implementation Partners to design and deliver fit-for-purpose payroll processes.
* Support the design and alignment of Payroll with Core HR, Workforce Management, Recruitment, Talent and organisational structures.
* Translate complex business requirements into practical Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions.
* Ensure successful business readiness, user adoption and knowledge transfer.
* Support testing, configuration, process design and implementation activities.
* Champion the "Adopt not Adapt" approach throughout the programme.
Essential Skills & Experience
* CIPP qualification, equivalent payroll qualification, or substantial Oracle Payroll implementation experience.
* Strong hands-on Oracle Fusion Payroll configuration experience.
* Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM modules and Payroll integration points.
* Proven experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll implementations.
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience working within large-scale ERP transformation programmes.
Desirable
* CIPD qualification or experience supporting HR process design.
* Experience within complex, highly regulated or public sector organisations.
* Knowledge of business change and organisational transformation.
