Receptionist (Maternity Cover)
Location: Looe, Cornwall
Hours: Part-Time (21 hours per week)
Working Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of their client for a Receptionist to join a friendly and professional team in Looe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and personable individual to take on a varied role, combining front-of-house reception duties with essential administrative support. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers and contractors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome visitors, customers and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
Handle incoming calls, emails and general enquiries efficiently.
Provide information on services, facilities and processes as required.
Maintain a positive and helpful customer experience at all times.
Administration
Maintain accurate digital and paper-based records and filing systems.
Process applications, documentation, invoices and payments.
Assist with scheduling, correspondence and general office administration.
Support the wider team with data entry, reporting and administrative tasks.
Ensure records are kept up to date and managed in line with company procedures.
Skills & Experience
Previous administration and/or reception experience is essential.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Experience within a maritime, marine or harbour environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
