Your new role
You will be working full time as the SEND Teacher within the school's resource base, delivering tailored teaching and learning to pupils with a variety of SEND needs. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, create structured routines, and work closely with support staff to ensure each child receives targeted, meaningful support. You will also contribute to EHCP targets, maintain strong communication with parents, and work collaboratively with the wider SEND team.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience teaching within a SEND resource base or specialist provision
Strong understanding of SEND strategies, differentiation, and personalised learning
Confident behaviour management and a nurturing, patient approach
Ability to work effectively with support staff, external professionals, and families
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
