Financial Controller

We’re looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to support costing, margin analysis, inventory control and financial reporting. You’ll also play a key role in improving processes, maximising the use of Sage 200 and supporting the implementation of Lucanet for local and Group reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop standard costing models.

*

Analyse manufacturing costs, product margins and variances.

*

Review labour, material and overhead costs.

*

Support stock reconciliations, valuations, counts and discrepancy investigations.

*

Produce monthly cost reports, KPIs and profitability analysis.

*

Assist with budgeting, forecasting and month‑end processes.

*

Work closely with production, engineering, transport and purchasing teams.

*

Drive process improvements and support system enhancements in Sage 200.

*

Transfer data from Sage 200 into Lucanet and support Group reporting.

Skills & Experience

*

Previous experience within the role or similar.

*

Strong understanding of costing principles and inventory accounting.

*

Advanced Excel skills.

*

Experience with Sage 200 and Lucanet (including mapping ERP data to Group COA).

*

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

*

Part‑qualified or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) desirable.

Working hours:

* Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
