Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant

Pay: £92.56 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Are you a fluent Welsh speaker looking to make a real difference in Welsh‑medium education? Hoop Education is working closely with schools across South Wales to recruit passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

Your Role:

* Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with ALN in Welsh‑medium settings

* Support teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons through Welsh

* Help create a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment

* Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

* Monitor and record pupil progress to support learning outcomes

* Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff

We’re Looking For:

* Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written) – essential

* Experience working with children (education or care settings)

* Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Relevant qualifications (desirable, not essential)
