We currently have a vacancy for a Programme Coordinators to join our Transport Programmes & Partnerships team.

You will have the opportunity to work within an established, dynamic team, which is responsible for working with our district partners and other stakeholders to support the efficient delivery of major infrastructure schemes. The Combined Authority has secured funding to deliver transport improvements through multi-year funding settlements such as the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement, Levelling Up Fund and Active Travel Fund as well as existing settlements like the West Yorkshire plus Transport Fund.

The Role

Reporting into the Programme Manager your key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting business case development on partner-led schemes through the Assurance Framework.

· Working with District Partners and internal stakeholders to report on schemes and programme areas.

· Developing and updating Programme documentation such as finance tables, trackers, risk registers.

About You

You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:

· Practical experience of successfully performing within a programme or project environment.

· Strong communication skills working with internal and external stakeholders and delivery partners with the proven ability to influence, negotiate and challenge.

· Managing workloads with conflicting priorities.

· Proven experience of confidently and professionally conveying complex information both written and oral in a clear, concise and persuasive style.

· Contributing towards writing reports for members and senior officers and writing business cases.
